For the most part, these works are studies for paintings that may or may not occur. From start of painting to the completion of annotations, many of my Wall Street paintings take months to do. The beauty of the "map" paintings you see here is that they allow me to comment on Wall Street in a painterly manner very quickly.

Inverted Keynes
Painted in February, 2013. Posting inspired by Bruce Bartlett's recent piece in The Times titled "Keynes's Biggest Mistake." This is an actual painting (not a study), measuring 36" x 48".
